摘要 项目学习法对英语口语学习的作用受到越来越多的关注。以维果茨基的社会建构主义理论为基础,通过为期半年的教学实验,探索在高职商务英语口语课上采用项目学习能否有效提升学生的学习兴趣、自信心,发展学生的英语口语能力。结果表明,项目学习让学生置身于真实的学习情境,由学生自主选择项目主题、设置项目目标以及自主掌控学习过程,项目学习结束后学生的口语能力、学习兴趣以及自信心都有了较大提升。 Project-based leaming has been used to improve students' spoken English around the world. Based on social constructivism, a classroom experiment was conducted to explore whether project-based learning can help business Eng- lish majors improve their leaming motivation, confidence and oral competence. By allowing students to control the pace of learning, identify a theme and set up a goal for the investigation themselves, they were able to put what they learned into practice and to speak English in the process of solving problems. The results shows that experimental group's oral competence, leaming motivation and confidence has improved significantly over the control group during the course of the study.
