Based on the connotation of public health information, the paper analyzes demands for public health information and re- sponsibilities of major groups related to public health information management （for example, the government, professional institutions and personnel, scientific research institutions and personnel, the public and individuals, media, etc. ） and explores problems encountered in satisfying the demands and fulfilling the responsibilities and their
