世界遗产不仅仅是修复和保护的简单技术问题,世界遗产制度也不可避免地带来一些社会变革。作者从人们对加德满都谷地的寺院的两种态度和认识入手,以柬埔寨的吴哥窟、法国众多的博物馆以及来自世界各地的藏品为例,分析了世界遗产制度得以存在的逻辑以及世界遗产制度的变革与发展。

The question of World Heritage is not a simple technical question of restoration and preservation, but the World Heritage institution implies necessarily social change. Starting from the two attitudes on the the temples in Kathmandu valley, the author analyzes the logics behind the world heritage institution and the development of the institution with reference to Angkor Wa, French museums and their collections from all over the world as examples.
