Investigation on a Chemical Poisoning Caused by Water Contamination

目的查明一起化学性群体中毒事件的原因及危害因素,为采取相应控制措施提供依据。方法开展现场流行病学调查,并采集可疑水样和患者呕吐物进行实验室检测。结果在1份末梢水和2份患者呕吐物中均检出高浓度硒含量。结论这是一起由于饮用了被硒污染的自来水引起的化学性中毒事件。

Objective The cause of chemical poisoning case and hazard factors were identified, which provided the b^sis to take control measures. Methods Epidemiological investigation was used. Suspicious water samples and vomit of patients were detected. Results The concentration of selenium was detected highly in one sample of terminal water and 2 samples of vomit of patients. Conclusion This is a chemical poisoning event caused by running water polluted by selenium.
