摘要 《德西蕾的孩子》通过戏剧性的故事情节,展现了一出种族主义制度下的社会悲剧,揭示了19世纪后期美国社会的种族偏见和歧视。作为一个混血儿,阿尔芒是种族主义的牺牲品,他对自由的自我认同被扭曲的社会认同"俘虏",从种族主义的受害者一步步蜕变为种族主义的践行者。 Through dramatic plots,Desiree＇s Baby displayed a social tragedy under racism, and revealed the racial prejudice and discrimination in the American society in the late 19th century. As a mulatto,Armand is a victim of racism. His self-identity of freedom is captured by distorted social identity, and he gradually transformed from a sufferer of racism to a practitioner of racism.
