Network Communication: Virtualized Freedom and Openness

在网络交际语境中,交际主体个人信息和交际活动场景等要素都具有很强的虚拟性。这种虚拟是对现实语境的补充,也是人类试图突破现实语境的限制而获得更大自由的体现。虚拟化语境中的交际活动和交际主体的虚拟性带来了时空、身份和规则的自由,也带来了信息发布、软件平台功能和交际方式等方面的开放性。但这种自由与开放并非毫无限度,而是受现实语境即社会文化背景等因素的直接规约。就此而言,网络交际语境只是虚拟空间中的乌托邦。

In the context of network communication, personal information and activity scene had virtual characteristics. It was supplement to realistic context and reflect human＇ trying to breach the finitude of realistic context. The Virtual feature brought freedom in time and space, identity, rules, also brought the openness of Info diffusion and communicative style. At the same time,the freedom and openness were limited by realistic context. In this sense, the context of network communication was a Utopia in virtual space.
