In the Post-cold war era,U.S. policy toward Singapore is based on the continuous changing times,particular in the premise U. S. in Southeast Asia to maintain and expand the existing national interests,and the result of the ongoing adjustment and improvement in the Asia-pacific strategic framework. Its forms of expression of the most intuitive,outstanding and typical,military security is to strengthen coordination and cooperation with Singapore;economic and trade is to Strengthen dependence and docking with Singapore. With far-reaching practical consequences and profound influence caused by the impact of the policy,especially for China’s prevention and containment intention should not be＂ostrich＂artificially underestimated and neglected.
