服务器技术和动态Web技术是网络工程的专业课,学生制作的动态网站基于操作系统XP环境下Microsoft Visual Studio 2005开发的动态网页集合,包括链接的数据库软件也在XP上。当动态网页发布在网络操作系统Windows server2003的Web服务器上时,学生需要在一台机器上安装网络操作系统,再搭建web服务器,安装数据库环境;在另外一台计算机上作为工作站,开发动态网页,在实验室的基础上,不可能同时给每个学生提供2台机器做实验。而在VMware下安装Windows server 2003搭建Web服务器和安装Mysql数据库及安装VS,将VS开发的动态网页发布在Web服务器上,事实可行。实验证明VMware下的课程综合既简单易行,又增强了学生实践动手能力和相关课程的综合应用能力。

Server and Dynamic Web Technology is a course for network engineering. In the course,students learn to implement dynamic web sites and link it to the database software based on Microsoft Visual Studio 2005,and develop a dynamic collection of web pages on XP environment. When dynamic pages are posted on the network operating system——Windows Server 2003 Web server,students need to install a network operating system on one machine,and then set up the Web server to install the database environment. Another computer is needed as a workstation for developing dynamic pages. In most laboratories,it is difficult to provide two machines to each student. VMware is used for installation of Windows Server 2003,Web server,Mysql database and VS. Dynamic pages based on VS thus can be published on the Web server. Experiments prove that this scheme is simple yet efficient. It enhances students＇ practical and comprehensive ability related to the course.
