温和与野性:沈从文和梭罗笔下“自然”的区别

Mild and Wild:“Nature” Portrayed Differently by Shen Congwen and Thoreau

从生态美学角度比较沈从文和梭罗这两位不同时代、不同国度的作家在表现"自然"这一主题上的差异,可以发现,梭罗赞赏野性的自然,但是这样的自然让人敬畏,使人退却,从某种程度上说他的思想更接近一个生态学家;而沈从文笔下的自然是生态和谐境界的象征,他的自然观为人类如何走出生态困境指明了方向。

By comparing the theme of ＂nature＂ by the two authors of Shen Congwen and Thoreau who are from different times and different countries, we can find that Thoreau appreciates the wild nature, which makes people revered and frightened. To some extent, his thoughts are much closer to an ecologist. While in Shen＇s works, the nature is the symbol of ecological harmony. His view of nature points out the way for people to get out of the ecological dilemma.
