路遥的《平凡的世界》是描写我国社会转型期(1975-1985)的史诗,纵向以社会历史为架构,横向以平凡人的人生追求为诗情,二者交相错杂、互融为一体,完成了史诗性的建构。精神传奇成为推动史诗性叙述的内在动力,在婚恋关系、乡土情结和苦难意识中表现得尤为突出,一方面使得现实主义的创作获得了现代意义的表现,但另一方面也削弱了现实主义表现生活的冷峻和真实。

Lu Yao＇s Ordinary World is the epic describing our social transition period （1975-1985）. Its construction is completed by the blending of social history and life pursuit of ordinary people. The spirit legend is the intrinsic motivation of promoting the epic narrative, especially in the marriage relationship, local complex and suffering consciousness. On one hand, this makes the creation of realism gain the modern sense of performance, but on the other hand, it weakens the cruelty and reality in life.
