Wen Ting- yun was a famous poet in the late Tang Dynasty,who has occupied an important position in the history of Chinese literature. Gan Sun Zi is a collection of short stories written by him. Those well- written stories are characterized by rich imagination,colorful images and profound connotations in the artistic conception. In the structural arrangements,the stories are full of complex and coherent plots. In the making of characters,the stories get rid of mediocrity and show deep insight through manners and behavior.
