Objective: To analyze and discuss the influence of Dexmedetomidine in the restlessness during the anesthesia recovery period of pediatric laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery.Method: 82 children with pediatric laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery from January 2014 to June 2015 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with each group 41 cases. The control group was given intravenous infusion of normal saline, the observation group was given intravenous infusion of Dexmedetomidine. The situations of anesthesia recovery and restlessness in the two groups were compared and analyzed.Result: The MAP and HR at T2, T3 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant ( P〈0.05 ) .The restlessness score and the incidence rate of respiratory events in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant ( P〈0.05 ) .The differences in the recovery time of anesthesia and the extubation time between the two groups were not statistically significant ( P〉0.05 ) .Conclusion: For pediatric patients undergoing laparoscopic inguinal hernia surgery, preoperative intravenous infusion of Dexmedetomidine can help to reduce the incidence of restlessness during anesthesia recovery period, reduce the incidence of tachycardia, ensure the smooth wake of children and improve the surgical outcomes. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
