《1905年黎业斯国际博览会中国展品目录》是记载该次博览会上中国展品来源、种类、规格、价格等最翔实的文献,文章结合对《清宫万国博览会档案》的解读,梳理了中国展馆建造、展品陈设、展品获奖、展品竞争等情况,以透视这次博览会上的中国工艺元素.通过对此次博览会上展览场地矛盾和展品存在的问题的梳理,初步勾勒出晚清中国参加此次博览会的历史画面,并进而揭示中国参与这次博览会的意义.

Catalogue of the Collection of Chinese Exhibits at the Liege Universal and International Exhibition , 1905 is the most detailed and faithful documentation of the origin , category , standard and price of Chinese exhibits. In this paper , with the reading of Archives on the World Exposition held in Forbidden City and other files , we will clarify the construction of Chinese exhibition hall , the display , award and competition condition of the exhibits to have a review on the Chinese arts and crafts elements. A historical sketch of late Qing dynasty participating the exposition will be outlined by examining the conflict of exhibiting areas and the problems of exhibits , and the influence of the participation will then be revealed.
