Under the 'World Factory'production organization system, migrant workers' basic rights and interests have been violated regularly. Meanwhile, due to the lack of support in the interests of maintaining formal organizational process, migrant workers are inclined to resort to informal organizations to protect their rights. Based on the two cases of Pearl River, the study argues that although the trust and communication would strengthen between migrant workers during their collective struggle, but such relationship does not necessarily lead to the class- solidarity network ties; on the contrary, the deeply rooted peasant consciousness would refrain the integrity and the consistency of their collective actions.
