Annotated Catalogues of Seven Rare Books Written by HUANG Zuo

明代香山黄佐学问淹博,著述宏富,思想深邃,在岭南乃至全国卓有盛名。其著述留传于世者有二十余种,被认定为善本者二十九种,经查广东省立中山图书馆藏有其善本七种,分别是《乐典》(两种)《广东通志》《庸言》《泰泉集》《六艺流别》《明音类选》,涉经史子集四部,颇具史料价值和文学价值,故为之撰写书志,以揭示其内外特征。

HUANG Zuo from Xiangshan was well-known in the south of Five Ridges and even all over China in Ming Dynasty, with his broad knowledge, rich works and profound thought. More than twenty titles of HUANG＇ s books are passed down, and 29 versions of which are identified as Chinese Rare Books. Among those rare books, seven of which are collected by Sun Yat-sen Library of Guangdong Province, including Yue Dian （in two versions）, Guangdong Tong Zhi, Yong Yah, Tai Quan Ji, Liu Yi Liu Bie, Ming Yin Lei Xuan, which cover all the four categories of ancient books. This paper provides annotated catalogues of the seven rare books, as they are of considerable historical and literary value, with the intention of better revealing their characteristics.
