结合高等代数专题教学经验和近年高等代数的考研真题,总结了利用矩阵的Sylvester定理来解决有关矩阵特征值和行列式问题的方法,供相关人员参考.

In this paper,combining with the author＇s experience in advanced algebra teaching and entrance examination of graduate students of advanced algebra, some methods of applications of Sylvester theorem in calculations of eigenvalue of matrix and of determinants have been given.
