高校图书馆的"阅读教育",是大学教育的重要组成部分,贯穿高校所有教学工作,是图书馆教育职能的着力点和落脚点,阅读教育激活了教育职能;对高校图书馆来说,阅读教育一定意义上是图书馆的专属,是课堂教学的延续和深化,担当着教育职能的责任;高校图书馆的阅读教育应与高校中的素质教育、专业知识教育等并存,共同完成高校的学历教育,实现教育职能的后时代效应。

Reading education in college libraries is an important part of college education. It runs through the teaching work and becomes the foothold of library＇ s education function. Reading education activates the function of education. It is, in a sense, the exclusive part of college libraries, the continuation and promotion of class educa- tion and takes on the responsibility of education function. Reading education should co - exist with quality education and professionM knowledge education to complete academic education and achieve the ＂after the era＂ effect of educa- tion function.
