The Globalization of Chinese Literature and the Sinicization of World Literature

中国文学走向世界的同时世界文学也正在走进中国,中国化与世界化是双向一体的建构过程。北京师范大学出版社的"世界文学书系"正是这种双向建构的创新性成果。创新点为:中国文学首次被列入世界文学史,不仅是中国文学的世界化,也代表了世界文学的中国化阐释;中国化理论体系建构,世界文学被划分为六大文明体系,东西方文明的"冲突观念"被体系化研究所取代;跨文明翻译阐释作为21世纪世界文学重构的主流是翻译研究的新方向,提供了语境文化与语言差异的融新视域,推倒"强制阐释"式的后殖民批评,翻译研究或可成为世界文学史新动力。

Chinese literature is going onto the world stage, meanwhile, world literature is entering China. The construction of globalization and sinicization is a two-way process of integration. One of the innovative achievements in the process of mutual construction is the ＂World Literature Series＂ established by Beijing Normal University Press. The innovations are as follows： Firstly, Chinese literature is listed in the world history of literature for the first time, which represents not only the globalization of Chinese literature, but also the sinicization of world literature. Secondly, the theoretical system of sinicization is established in which world literature is divided into six major systems of civilization and the ＂concept of conflict＂ between eastern and western civilizations is replaced by systematic research. Thirdly, as the mainstream of reconstructing world literature in the 21st century, a cross-civilization interpretation of translation has become a new direction of translation studies. It provides a new integrated horizon of contextual culture and linguistic disparities, overturning the post-colonial criticism of ＂Forced Interpretation＂. Chances are so good that translation studies may be a new momentum in the history of world literature.
