两广总督岑春煊广西剿匪探析——以《申报》为视角

清末新政时期,广西匪患之盛遍及全省,惊动全国,成为晚清政府难以解决的社会问题之一。《申报》作为近代舆论的喉舌,以它独特的视角剖析了广西匪患肆虐的诸多原因,关注并报道了两广总督岑春煊的应对之策。作为清末强势督抚的岑春煊,运用各种方法和措施,暂时镇压了此次严重的匪患,维护了广西地方的稳定和发展。但在腐朽的晚清政府统治之下,匪患问题始终难以被彻底根除,直至成为广西地方发展的一大社会毒瘤。

The late Qing dynasty, there were many bandits in Guangxi, throughout the province, disturbing the country. As the mouthpiece of the modern press, ShenBao reported the reasons for it from the unique perspective, reported the response of Cen Chunxuan to Guangxi bandits. As one of the most strongest governors in the late Qing dynasty, Cen Chunxuan used various means to suppress the bandits and succeeded, but under the decay of late Qing government rule, bandits were hard to pacify.
