Comparative study for the adverb usage in A Wizard Journey to the Immortal and the Song,Yuan and Ming Dynasty

文章通过《绿野仙踪》中的副词与宋元明时期的副词对比发现,其中大多数副词都是从宋元明时期继承来的,而且意义和用法没有发生太大的改变;同时一些差异开始出现,如双音节大量使用、副词的使用频率、意义以及组合能力方面均发生了一定的变化。

A Wizard Journey to the Immortal is a famous long vernacular novels in the Qing Dynasty, the language represents the o- verall appearance of the mid Qing Dynasty. In the comparison of the adverb usage in A Wizard Journey to the Immortal and song, yuan and Ming Dynasties, it is found that, the most adverbs in A Wizard Journey to the Immortal are inherited from the Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, and the meaning and usage did not change to much. Whereas, there are also some differences, such as the heavy use of double syllable, the frequency of using adverb, and the significance and com- bination ability occurred some changes.
