翻译的本质在于信息的跨文化传播。从跨文化传播理论的反馈角度讨论可以检验翻译效果的好坏及标准的可行性。从语内反馈和语际反馈角度讨论,Chinese medicine(CM)应该成为"中医药"的英译标准,其保持了源语言文化的最大信息,遵循文化自信原则,语内传播和语际传播均能达到最佳效果,应当予以大力推行。

The nature of translation is the intercultural communication of information. The theory of intercultural communication can be applied to test the effect of translation work and the feasibility of translation criterion. Based on the point of intralanguage feedback and interlanguage feedback, Chinese medicine（CM） should be standardized as the translation of ＂ 中医药＂ , because it has maintained the maximum information of the Chinese culture, abided by cultural confidence principle, enabled both the intralanguage and interlanguage com- munication to achieve the best effect. This should be vigorously carried out.
