On Competency-based Teacher Educational Thought in Contemporary Western World:Retrospect,Trend and Reflection

摘要 本文回溯了当代西方能力本位主义教师教育思想的起源和发展,发掘了其理论基础,并系统描述了其主要思想内容,呈现出能力本位主义教师教育思想除以行为主义心理学为基础和导向外,以整体主义为取径是它过去十多年来的一个新趋势。在探索了能力本位主义教师教育思想对全球教师教育政策和实践的影响及其趋势之后,批判性地反思了它在教师教育实践中存在的关键问题。 This essay traces the history of Competency-based Teacher Educational (CBTE) thought in contemporary western world and explores its theoretical foundations. It also describes the main contents of CBTE, revealing that it is both behaviorism-oriented and holism-oriented today. Then, it explores the international influences of CBTE on policies and practice of teacher education worldwide, and finally presents a critical reflection on some key problems inherent in this mode of teacher educational thought.
