Direct subsidies to farmers can increase agricultural production, decrease enterprise production cost, reduce domestic sugar price, effectively resist the impacts of international markets on domestic sugar price, and promote healthy development of the domestic sugar industry. Sugar temporary storage and subsidies to enterprises purchasing and storage are also effective measures to alleviate the impact of international sugar.
