摘要
自孔子始,仁礼关系就是儒家学说的基本关系,如何处理这种关系涉及到儒学发展的不同方式。孔子建立了以仁为本源,以礼为表征,仁礼合一的思想系统。这一思想系统存有向依仁以成礼和设礼以显仁两个向度发展的可能性。后世儒者如孟子等尊仁,依仁以成礼;而苟子等崇礼,设礼以显仁。两汉以下,降至明清,两种方式此消彼长,不断争胜较长。儒学在当代只有仁礼双彰,双向并进,实现依仁以成礼和设礼以显仁的有机结合才是自身发展的健康之道,才能为人类做出新贡献。
Since Confucius, the relationship between Ren and Li have been Considered essential in Confucianism. How to handle this relationship concerns different developmental ways of Confuciuse stablished a thinking system which took Ren as the origin and Li as the token ,and merged then into one. This system has two developmental possibilities: either making Li on Ren, While manifesting Ren through Li, Latter making Li on Ren, Latter Confucians like Mencius Paid more attention to Ren, and standed for making Li on Ren, while Xunzi emphasized much on Li and advocated to manifest Ren through Li. From Han to Qing dynasty, the two trends have occupied the dominant position alternately, and disputed with each other. At the present age, the sound way for development is to make the two ways advance together and to work in coordination. Thus and only thus, Confucianism may make new contributions to human beings.
