摘要
通过问卷调查对大学英语口语课堂教学、学习和测试的现状进行随机抽样调查是开展需求分析的有效方式。调查结果表明,学生口语学习困难主要集中在交际策略的使用、口语表达的流利性和灵活性、词汇使用的准确性等方面,以及大多数大学英语教师比较重视口语教学,教学方式也比较灵活,但很少开展课堂口语测试,且测试题目的设计及评分标准的使用还不够系统化和标准化。
The status quo of oral English teaching, learning, and assessment at the tertiary level via questionnaire survey. Through random sampling, researchers administered both student questionnaire and teacher questionnaire. Results indicated that students considered the use of communicative strategies, range of vocabulary and fluency as the most difficult things in their oral English learning. Results also revealed that the majority of college English teachers paid much attention to oral English teaching. However, most college English teachers seldom administered classroom oral assessment, and their practices of classroom oral assessment were considered as lack of systematic and standardized procedures.
