Novel technologies on soldier power

武器装备和电子装备都需要电力来驱动,而且随着装备越来越多,电力需求也越来越大,这也大大加重了徒步士兵的携行负担。为此,美军正在研发利用士兵行走发电及太阳能、燃料电池等新能源,以满足不断增长的单兵供电需求。

Armor and electrical equipment were driven by power, and the power supply was grown very quickly with the increasing use of all kinds of those equipment. All those leaded to the rise of the dismounted soldier’s load. So generating power through soldier’s walking,solar energy,fuel cell and other innovative energy were studied by the U.S. Army to meet the growing requirement of soldier power supply.
