This paper elaborated the definition,characteristics,types and its arrangement ways of shear wall structure,from the shear wall location selection,wall limb length determination,beam slab layout and other aspects summarized the principles and design key points of shear wall design should follow,and analyzed the specific application of shear wall structure in building structure design,helpful to improve our construction engineering design level.
