A Research of Writing Natural Conditions and Social Customs in Tang Poetry about Seeing Officers off to Their Appointed Posts

唐代送人赴任诗景物书写的发展历程,大致可分为三个阶段:唐前借景抒情、初唐沿路叙景、盛唐展示风土。盛唐之后,风土成了送人赴任诗重要的写作要素。这一现象与唐代社会的繁荣、送序及地理志的发展成熟密切相关。唐代送人赴任诗的风土书写在一定程度上使送别诗兼有了风土诗的特质,这种特质使唐代送人赴任诗除了具有应酬赠别的功能外,还拥有保留并传播一方地域文化、以诗证史的价值。

As a kind of important factor in the writing process of poems about seeing someone off, the description of natural conditions and social customs went through three main stages. Before Tang Dynasty, poets expressed their emotion through scenery description. In Early Tang, poets described the scenery which traveler would meet on the journey. In Mid-Tang, poets were ready to show the natural conditions and social customs of traveler＇s destination and it became an impressive sight in Mid-Tang. The development is closely related to progress of Tang Dynasty＇s political, economic and cultural, the interaction effects between different literary genres and the development of geographical works. Owing to writing of natural conditions and social customs, farewell poems are provide with the function of preserving and spreading regional culture.
