Image-Text Characterization and Internal Tension of Literati Painting

图文关系研究是读图时代的研究热点,中国文人画内含复杂图文关系,存在内外在多种形式组合类型及以图为象的画面描述、以图为寄的托画言志、以图为基的品论画艺、以图为因的纪事言趣等多种功能组合类型。文人画图文间既存在一般图文张力共性,又存在主体与介入、自由与程式、即时与历时等特有的内在张力。

Studying on the relationship between image and text is a research hot spot in the era of picture reading. Chinese literati paintings contain complex image-text relations, with a variety of inner and outer forms of combination types, and many fimction types, such as picture description,ideal expression ,comment and narration. Besides common image-text tension, some unique intrinsic tension also exists in the relationship between image and text in literati painting, like subjectivity and intervention, freedom and formula, immediacy and diachrony.
