《北京市婚姻文化嬗变研究(1949——1966)》从婚姻制度与婚姻文化互动的视角出发,对新中国成立"十七年"北京市婚姻文化变迁中的一些重要问题进行了考察,是社会文化史研究的一部新力作。全书论述的重点主要集中在新式婚姻制度的建立、"择偶——恋爱——结婚"婚姻三部曲研究、婚姻的变异、婚姻文化嬗变的评价和启示四个方面。在研究理论和方法上,借助了人类学、社会学、经济学等学科的相关成果,充分运用第一手的口述史资料,试图用"民众的声音"表述民众的历史记忆和感受,努力将婚姻制度与婚姻文化联系起来,解释社会结构变迁中婚姻文化的传承和演变。但不可否认的是,全书在理论提升上有一定空间,还有待于深入挖掘。

This book, a masterpiece in the area of social-culture research, investigates some important issues in the evolution of marriage culture in Beijing from the perspective of the interaction between marriage institution and culture. It contains eight parts that could be summarized as introduction, marriage in Late Qing Dynasty and Republics in Beijing, the establishment of new marriage institutions, a study on trilogy of mate selection-dating and loving-married, variation of marriage, valuation and inspiration of the evolution of marriage culture. In theory and methodology, it fully uses the first hand narrative data and tries expressing ＂the voice and memory from the common people＂ with the help of the relative anthropology, sociology and economics works. It tries to establish the connection between marriage institutions and marriage culture and explain the inheritance and evolution of marriage culture in the changes of social structure.
