翻译特性视域下的汉语文化词语英译探析——以《红高粱家族》为例

English Translation of Chinese Cultural Words in Sights of Translation's Feature——Red Sorghum Family as an Example

如何把汉语所代表的意境全部翻译成英语,是学术界一直在研究的问题。以翻译特性为视角,以《红高粱家族》为语料,分别从翻译的社会性、文化性、符号转换性、创造性和历史性这五个特性出发,探讨分析汉语文化词语的特性。

With the development of the globalization, communication between countries becomes more and more important. Translation is an important way to spread culture. However, languages represent countries＇ cultures, values, historical backgrounds, religious and so on, and we can＇ t translate it directly. How to translate Chinese into English with all of its moods is the issue that academia has been studying. In sights of translation＇s features and use Red Sorghum Family as corpus, we can start from five characteristics of translation, such as social, cultural, symbolic conversion, creativity and historicity; Through the way without word brace, sentence combination and space rebuilt, make the meaning of translation regenerate to explore the characteristics of Chinese words.
