平潭实验区是探索两岸交流合作先试先行的示范区,也是海西经济区域的重要组成部分。创新平潭实验区内的出入境管理工作,不仅有利于促进实验区的经济发展与两岸的交流合作,也为指导新形势下海峡两岸人员往来的出入境管理工作提供借鉴,从而为两岸关系和平发展做出贡献。

Pingtan trial zone, an important component of economic zone on west coast of Taiwan strait, is the leading and exploratory demonstration plot on the cross-strait exchange and cooperation.In recent years, with the surge of personnel exchanges from both sides in the trial zone, the imperfection and lag of entry and exit manage-ment become gradually apparent.Therefore, through strengthening the legal system, simplifying procedures, quick-ening customs clearance and reinforcing the port management, department of entry and exit should keep pace with the times to innovate the entry and exit management in Pingtan trial zone so as to promote the zone's economic de-velopment and bring benefits for cross-strait communication and cooperation.
