Labor is the decisive force that drives the human social progress. Respecting labor is a sign of a nation’s civilization. The process of respecting labor is also the process of realizing the Chinese Dream. In the historical process of the localization of Marxism in China, respecting the value of labor has become an important and fundamental cultural orientation; respecting laborers’ dignity has become a powerful and reliable political safeguard; respecting the diversity of labor has become a necessary and critical factor of social process; respecting the creations of labor has become a strong and persistent power of the age. Today, to understand further the historical, theoretical and logical relationship between respecting labor and realizing the Chinese Dream is particularly of significance both theoretically and practically for creating a better future of the Chinese nation.
