人力资本、社会资本与农民工工资差异

The Effect of Migrant Workers' Human Capital and Social Capital on Their Income

本文通过OLS回归和分位数回归综合考察了人力资本和社会资本对农民工工资的影响,结果表明:虽然人力资本和社会资本都是导致农民工工资差异的重要因素,但人力资本的影响效应显著大于社会资本;社会资本对农民工工资只是在高分位点处具有微弱影响;在人力资本各变量中,培训对农民工工资的影响效应在低分位点处略低于受教育程度,但在中、高分位点处的影响效应则要显著大于受教育程度。因此,要在努力提升农民工人力资本的同时,设法提升农民工的社会资本,从而改善农民工的收入状况。

This paper analyses the effect of migrant workers' human capital and social capital on their incomeby using OLS regression and quartile regression.The result shows that human capital has much bigger influence than social capital on the migrant workers' income.And quartile regression further shows that only at the upper quartile social capital has a slight effect.Among variables in human capital it is training that has much greater effect than education at the middle and upper quartile,yet less at the low quartile.Therefore,it is proposed to raise migrant workers' human capital and meanwhile the social capital so as to increase their income.
