Design of Peak Detector Based on Open-Drain Output Comparator

摘要 为满足信号幅度检测的需要,根据开漏输出比较器和运算放大器的特性,设计一种基于开漏输出比较器的峰值检测基本电路,分析其实现原理和元器件对检测性能的影响.在此基础上结合后级A/D的特点,设计了一种基于开漏输出比较器LM319A的峰值检测实用电路,并进行了性能测试.实验结果表明:该电路通频带宽为0~6 MHz,线性度误差小于1.7%,检测精度误差不大于2%,可用于正弦波、方波、三角波和低占空比脉冲等信号的峰值自动检测系统中. A peak detector based on open-drain output eomparator was designed to detect signal amplitude making use of the functions of the operational amplifier and the open drain output comparator. The realization principle of the comparator and effect of its components on the detection performance was studied and a practical peak detector based on open-drain output comparator LM319A was designed and its performance test conducted. The results show that the detector's frequency bandwidth is 0-6 MHz, linearity error less than 1.7%, precision error no more than 2%, and it can be used in automatic peak detection system with sine wave, square wave, triangular wave, low duty cycles Pulse and other signal input.
