The development and applications of SMW enclosure method both in Shanghai and abroad are reviewed and summarized. The cement mix proportion, modality of shaped steel and soil cement composite piles, calculation of designed strength, extracting tech of the shaped steel during the construction of SMW method are discussed in summary. Several project cases with SMW method and a homemade deep mixer with four axial are presented in brief.
