When treating cough,professor WU Weiping pays attention to venting pathogen,diffusing the lung,dissolving phlegm and directing qi downward. Minor Green Dragon Decoction performs the function of diffusing the lung to dissipate cold,directing qi downward to dissolve rheum,which is exactly consistent with the treating methods and is widely used in treating cough.
