The Medium Plate installed the soaking hood in the convey roller table in front of the heating furnace, and the design, structure, manufacture and optimization for the soaking hood were introduced, then the coal gas consumption was reduced 11.4% and more, the temperature drop of the slabs was reduced 33% also.
