大学本土留学教育个人收益的计量分析:基于倾向值匹配法的研究 被引量:3

Quantitative Analysis of the Individual Benefit of Localized Overseas Education for the Undergraduate: Evidence from Propensity-Score Matching

摘要 本文利用课题组2014年对7所相关院校毕业生的调查数据,运用倾向值匹配法克服自我选择偏差等问题,计量了接受本土留学教育对个人经济收入的影响效应。研究发现,个人性别、专业意向、家庭背景等因素对个体选择本土留学教育的概率有显著影响。同时,匹配的计量结果表明,大学本土留学教育存在显著的经济收益,相对于普通高等教育,接受本土留学教育可能使个人月工资平均水平提高20.9%;本土留学教育对不同学生群体个人教育收益的影响效应存在较大差异,未接受本土留学教育学生的潜在收益明显低于已接受本土留学教育学生的收益。 Based on the data sampling from the 7 universities and colleges in 2014, this paper evaluated the impact of localized overseas education on individual economy income. Sample selection bias is controlled by using propensityscore matching method. The study found that factors as gender, major intention, family background and so on had a main impact on localized overseas education choice. Also the economic return of those attending localized overseas education was20.9% higher than those attending regular higher education. Though the localized overseas education varies on its influence on different student groups, the potential benefit for students who don't attending localized overseas education was smaller evidently.
