New Matrix Converter Technology Used in High Voltage Converter

摘要 提出了一种基于单向开关的新型矩阵变换器拓扑方案。变换器采用IGBT器件代替二极管器件实现电压型整流,通过IGBT器件的电流双向流动特性实时地将负载的瞬时无功功率回馈至电网。这省去了大容量的直流母线储能电容,降低了变换器的成本,同时实现4象限运行。本新型矩阵变换技术主要侧重于整流侧IGBT开关控制技术研究和输入侧滤波器设计,通过理论计算和实验验证了此新型矩阵变换技术可替代传统的交-直-交功率单元,在级联多电平的高压变频器上具有应用前景。 A new AC-AC matrix converter with unidirectional switch was proposed. IGBTs were used to realizeAC rectify and DC converter instead of Diods. The instantaneous reactive power of the load was fed back to the gridthrough the IGBT′s bidirectional current flow characteristics in real time. It did not require any dc-link capacitor so thecomplexity and cost of the system were reduced,and it could be run four quadrants. The emphases of the new converterstudy was IGBT unidirectional switch control mode of rectifier and the design of LCR. It is proved by calculation andsome tests that this new converter can replace the traditional power unit,and it would be wildly used in cascaded highvoltage converter.
