西安市外商直接投资与经济增长的实证分析

An Empirical Analysis of Foreign Direct Investment and Economic Growth of Xi'an

采用指数评价法、直接回归模型、VAR模型来分析外商直接投资与经济增长的内在关系及作用机理,结果表明:西安外商实际直接投资的主要方式为外资企业,主要投资行业为制造业,主要投资来源为香港,主要投资地区为高新区;在15个副省级城市中,西安市的引资能力较强,但综合增长潜力相对较弱;外商直接投资对西安经济增长的长期贡献较大,但它对经济增长的拉动作用存在明显的滞后性;变量LNGDP和LNFDI存在协整关系;外商直接投资和经济增长之间存在互相促进的作用,经济增长对外商直接投资的影响程度较大,但外商直接投资对经济增长的影响程度则相对较小。

The paper employs the index method, direct regression model, VAR model to analyze the intrinsic relationship between FDI and economic growth and mechanism of action. The results showed that：the main mode of FDI is foreign-funded enterprises, the main investment industry is the manufacturing industry, the main source of investment is from Hong Kong, and the main investment area is the high-tech industrial de velopment zone Amory the 15 sub-provincial cities,Xi＇an has the strong attraction to foreign direct in vest ment,but the overall growth potential is relatively weak. The long-term contribution of foreign direct in vestment to economic growth of Xi＇an is greater, but the effect of foreign direct investment on economic growth is obviously lagging behind. There is a co-integration relationship between variable LNGDP and variable LNFDI. Foreign direct investment and economic growth can facilitate eac other. The effect of eco nomic growth on foreign direct investment is relatively more significant, but the influence of foreign direct investment on economic growth is relatively low.
