Knowledge and Action in One: Revolution and Image of the Chinese Communist Party in the Writings of Foreign Reporters

中国革命战争年代的中国共产党形象,是中共革命的综合性呈现,在中共历史上占有重要地位。一些外国记者曾以"他者"的身份深入中共根据地、解放区进行实地考察,撰写了比较可信的纪实作品。通过他们所采访的领袖人物、农民群众、普通士兵身上所发生的一切,生动地反映了中共的执政理念、执政行为、执政绩效和精神面貌。一批怀有革命理想的仁人志士,凭着依靠民众、给予民众的群众路线理念,执着于经济改革、平等精神、民主意识、清廉自律、保护民众的实际行动,诸此都成为民众认同、支持与参加中共革命的根本动力,从而保证了中国革命走向成功。时至今日,中共执政所处的形势更加复杂,但中国共产党革命时期的理念仍有值得重拾和践行的巨大价值,这就是为民众谋幸福、取得民众尤其是中下层民众拥护的精神是一致的。最紧要的问题是,以制度化建设保证这种精神的弘扬,并化为脚踏实地的实践行动,由此真正维护中国共产党的光辉形象。

What the Communist Party of China（ CPC） did during the period of revolutionary wars was introduced into foreign countries by foreign reporters who went into the revolutionary bases and liberated areas to have an interview with leaders,peasants and soldiers. They noted down what happened and reported executive ideas,action,achievements and spirits of the CPC,which guaranteed the success of the Chinese revolution. Now situation is complicated more than ever,and the executive ideas at that time still have great value,namely,to serve the people and to get support from the people. The urgent problem now is to guarantee the development of this spirit and keep a better image of the CPC.
