Comment on Onumachinzan and His Poems——Thirty Ci Poems of Tokyo

大沼枕山是明治时期一位重要的汉诗人。他对唐宋明清诗广收博览,自成一家,被誉为明治时期汉诗"三诗宗"之一。其诗柔婉清丽,内透灵气,他的《东京词三十首》或悲或叹,冷眼观世,针砭时弊,一时间洛阳纸贵,被世人广为传诵。

Onumachinzan was an important poet of Chinese poetry in the Meiji Period in Japan. He studied the poems of the Tang,Song,Ming and Qing dynasties extensively and created a unique style of his own. So,he won the reputation of one of the＂Top Three Ancestors of Poetry＂in the Meiji Period of Japan.The words used in his poems showed gentleness and elegance;his poems indicated a quiet atmosphere of extraordinary refined. Either sorrow or complaint,he observed and criticized the social reality sharply in his Thirty Poems of Tokyo,which became very popular and was read widely by different people of that period.
