Deconstruction and Reconstruction of Social Ethics

一个社会的正常运行,需要有相应的伦理道德、意识形态等价值观层面的因素作为支撑。进入近代以后,中国传统的社会伦理受到了巨大的冲击。1949年后,传统的社会伦理又受到了根本性的解构。现在我们要发展市场经济,发展民主政治,就需要相应进行社会伦理的重建,从而有效地维系社会的良性运行,使我们真正进入现代社会。

The normal operation of a society requires that there should be some factors such as ethics, morality, and so on. After entering the modern times, the Chinese traditional social ethics has been greatly impacted. After 1949, the traditional social ethics has been fundamentally deconstructed. Now we need to develop the market economy and democratic politics, so we need to reconstruct the corresponding social ethics, so as to effectively maintain the healthy operation of the society.
