摘要
运用体裁分析方法研究中国学生的英文求职信,发现中国学生英文求职信的语篇特征与英语国家人士的求职信有很大差异。例如,缺少"表明身份"或"礼貌结尾"语步,而多出"问候"、"开头致谢"、"致歉"、"自我介绍"、"表决心"和"请求回复"等语步。
This research is to study the Chinese students' English job application letters using the method of genre analysis. It is found that the job application letters written by Chinese students differ greatly from those written by English native speakers in terms of discourse features. For example, Chinese students' letters lack the move of "offering candidature" or "polite ending", while adding such moves as "greeting", "opening thanks", "expressing apology", "self-introduction", "expressing determination", and "soliciting response".
