试论科学认识的不确定性与可接受风险

On Epistemic Uncertainty and Acceptable Risk in Science

本文系统分析了科学认识的不确定性,结合科学认识的工具性以及认识与实践的关联性,进一步揭示了接受科学认识可能存在的风险,在此基础上,以主体对科学认识的理性评估与寻求合理性作为对科学认识不确定性与可接受风险的解决之道,为拓展科学认识的合理性内涵提供了新的视角,也对基于科学认识的社会决策提出了新的伦理思考。

Methodological and doxastic uncertainties in science are articulated along with several pragmatic and behavioristic views of science invoked to demonstrate the reasons why scientists should concern those epistemic uncertainties as well as their consequences （especially the non-epistemic ones）. A more comprehensive understanding of science will be of great implications for the management of the acceptable risks in science as well as those in science-based public policy-making processes.
