Research on gray water purification using MBR and BAF for domestic toilet flushing

摘要 以灰水净化后回用于家庭冲厕为目的,小试研究了采用平板膜生物反应器(MBR)和"火山岩滤料曝气生物滤池(BAF)+平板膜过滤"对灰水再生处理的差异性和适宜的工艺条件。研究表明,MBR和BAF在不同的季节净化灰水后均可作为优质的家庭冲厕用水。冬春季条件下,MBR即使HRT为2.5-3 h、MLSS为3 500-4 500 mg/L,出水浊度、NH3-N、BOD5和CODs分别低于0.3 NTU、4.0 mg/L、3 mg/L、40 mg/L;夏季CODs一般不超过20 mg/L。BAF冬春季填料接触反应时间2.95-5.89 h,反冲洗周期为36-48 h条件下,出水的浊度为0.6-4 NTU,NH3-N、BOD5均小于4 mg/L,CODs为10-50mg/L;夏秋季接触反应时间2.36-2.95 h,反冲洗周期为24 h,出水的NH3-N小于0.5 mg/L,CODS保持10-35 mg/L。BAF出水经过平板膜直接过滤,出水达到和接近MBR出水的水质。BAF与膜过滤结合净化灰水能够实现良好的再生水水质。 This thesis deals with the purification of grey water for domestic toilet flushing by studying the respective effect and preferred process conditions of MBR and ‘BAF + MF'in grey water recycling. The experimental results show that the water quality treated by MBR and BAF can both meet the standard of domestic flushing in any season. When treated by MBR,in spring and winter time,even when the HRT is 2. 5—3 h and MLSS3 500—4 500 mg / L,the concentration of turbidity,NH3-N,BOD5,CODsof outlet are lower than 0. 3 NTU,4. 0mg / L,3 mg / L,40 mg / L,respectively. While in summer,the quality of reclaimed water can be even higher.When treated by BAF,in spring and winter time,if the contact reaction time is controlled between 2. 95—5. 89 h,the backwash cycle is 36—48 h,the turbidity of outlet of BAF is 0. 1—0. 3 NTU,the concentration of NH3-N is lower than 4. 0 mg / L,BOD5 is less than 4 mg / L and CODscontent is 10—50 mg / L. While in summer and autumn,contact reaction time is 2. 36—2. 95 h,the backwash cycle is 24 h,the NH3-N content of recycled water is lower than 0. 5 mg / L,the CODscontent is 10—35 mg / L,the BOD5 content is 2. 5—7 mg / L. If the outlet of BAF is directly filtered by flat-sheet membrane,the NH3-N,CODs,BOD5 and turbidity can reach or nearly equal to the reclaimed water that treated by MBR. The combination of BAF and membrane filtration can create refined reclaimed water.
