Under the international background, talent cultivation in higher vocational education must adapt to this trend. On the basis of analyzing the necessity of training talents with international outlook and reforming public foreign language talent training system in higher vocational colleges, it explores ways to improve the ability of listening and speaking of higher vocational college students, points out problems encountered in the teaching, with a view to raising the level of vocational career of higher vocational students.
