Ritual Changes and Ethnic Identity—Taking Guilan County Salang Village Wu Family's Funeral Ceremony for an Example

贵州省归兰水族乡洒郎寨吴姓家族虽为水族,却一直认同苗族的风俗习惯。2013年洒郎寨吴姓家族老人去世采用水族的"开控"仪式形式举行丧葬活动,以此认同其水族身份。"开控"仪式活动中的仪式音声承担着传达吴姓家族认同水族身份,从而移风易俗的作用。

The Wu family in Guilan Shui nationality Salang village in Guizhou province belongs to Shui nationality, but the family gets accustomed of Miao nationality＇ s customs. In 2013, the old people in Wu family used their Shui nationality＇ s ＂opening control＂ funeral ceremony to identify their Shui nationality. The sound in the ＂opening control＂ ceremony undertakes the transmission of Wu family＇ s identity towards Shui nationality, and influences the transmitting of the customs and traditions.
