高校教师教学发展的组织支持——对文华学院教师教学发展中心的案例研究

Organizational Support for Faculty Instructional Development at Colleges and Universities——A Case Study on the Center for Faculty Instructional Development at Wenhua College

高校有必要建立教师教学发展中心,对教师教学发展给予组织支持。对文华学院教师教学发展中心的案例研究表明:问题源流、政策源流和政治源流交汇形成合力,加之院校研究成果转化为领导决策,共同促成了该院教师教学发展中心的设立。该中心通过选择参与者和专业者,设立文华讲坛、教学工作坊和发展工作坊,开展了一系列主题活动,对教师教学发展发挥了一定的组织支持作用,但也存在资源供给不足、设计不够合理等问题。

It is necessary to establish centers for faculty instructional development at col- leges and universities in order to provide organizational support for faculty to improve their instruction. The researcher conducted a case study on the Center for Faculty Instructional Development at Wenhua College. The study shows that the center was established because of problem stream, policy stream and politics stream that came together with leaders＇ decision based on the findings of institutional researches conducted by the college. The center invited participants and professionals to organize a series of themed activities by delivering Wenhua Lectures, and by conducting instructional workshops and development workshops. The cen- ter played an effective role in providing organizational support for faculty to improve their in- struction, and had some problems such as insufficient resources and imorooer designs.
